Best Big Puff Vapes for 2024 (UK)

If you’re a disposable or prefilled pod vaper, you may find your standard 2ml device never quite lasts long enough. While their easy-to-use design is a big plus, carrying multiple devices or extra pods around can be less than convenient.

Enter Big Puff Vapes! With multiple pods in one device, big puff vapes offer a longer-lasting experience than standard 2ml kits (while still adhering to TPD standards!). Their easy, rotating design means that when you’ve worked your way through one pod, you can simply switch to the next and carry on vaping.

While we’re sure there are plenty more on the way (especially with the forthcoming disposables ban), we’ve already seen some great Big Puff vapes enter the market.
So we’ve selected 5 of our favourites to help you find your perfect big puff device.

Best big puff vapes in depth

IVG 2400

Buy if:
·You’re looking for a longer-lasting disposable device
·You want to reduce the cost of using disposables
·You like plenty of flavour options

Don’t buy if:
·You prefer small, discreet devices
·You’d prefer a rechargeable, reusable device

Europe’s first TPD-compliant big puff disposable range, IVG 2400 devices are a great solution for disposable vapers who want a longer-lasting device with reduced cost and waste.

Holding four 2ml pods, each 2400 device holds 8ml of e-liquid. I’d consider myself a moderate to heavy vaper (as, working for a vape company, I’m allowed to vape at work!) and found a single device lasted me around 3 days of use. This is a little less than 4 single disposables would typically last me, but I assume this is due to the lower combined battery capacity (1500mAh vs 2400mAh).

The range offers a good choice of over 40 flavours, with Fizzy Cherry being my personal favourite. While I’m not usually a fan of cherry flavours, I could easily vape this one all day! I also like that you can choose multi-flavour options if you get bored of vaping the same flavour for days on end.

While the IVG 2400 is definitely a step up from standard disposables in terms of longevity, its big puff design means it’s much larger than most single-use devices. But, if you don’t mind carrying a larger device, the trade-off is a much longer-lasting and more cost-friendly option.

IVG Air 4-in-1

Buy if:
·You want long-lasting battery life
·You like strong flavours

Don’t buy if:
·You want a smaller device - consider the 2-in-1 version instead

IVG’s Air 4-in-1 has everything you would want from a big puff vape device - long-lasting battery life, easy operation and great flavour.

Testing the device over a few days, I found the battery life particularly impressive - with the 1100mAh battery lasting a full day of moderate use straight out of the box. When the battery did run low, after just a 15-minute charge it lasted me a further 2 days (at time of writing). I also found the colour-coded battery indicator handy to let me know when to recharge.

I chose the Pink Edition kit of tropical fruit and citrus flavours and, while 20mg nicotine is a little strong for me, all of the pods produced very nice, strong flavours that would be ideal for disposable users. The Fizzy Cherry pod was especially tasty!

Tip: While all of the kits are mixed flavours, you can purchase separate Air pods and stick to a single favourite if you prefer.

One downside of this device was not being able to see how much e-liquid was left in each pod, and a transparent design would have been more convenient.
While I usually stick to refillable vape kits, the Air 4-in-1’s long-lasting battery life and convenient design mean I’d find it useful if I was going away or on holiday and didn’t want to carry my larger device and extra e-liquids.

Overall, this is a great kit if you’re looking for a convenient device with strong flavours, and I’d particularly recommend it to disposable vapers looking for a reusable alternative.

If you’d prefer a more compact device, it’s also worth considering the dual-pod IVG Air 2-in-1 version.

SKE Crystal 2400

Buy if:
·You’re looking for all-day battery life
·Style is important to you
·You like mixed-flavour options
·You want disposable-style draw and flavour

Don’t buy if:
·You’re looking for a refillable device
·Build quality is important to you
·You don’t like sweet flavours

As SKE’s Crystal Bar disposables have been such a big hit, it only makes sense that SKE would translate these flavours into a reusable device. After the success of their single-pod Crystal Plus kit, the newer 4-pod Crystal 2400 means you can enjoy these flavours for even longer.

Retaining the stylish crystal-like design SKE products are known for, the true value of this device is in its longevity.

As a heavier vaper, I was very impressed with the battery life - with the 950mAh battery lasting me a full day of use. Each prefilled pod also lasted me most of a day which was also impressive.

I used the Green Edition kit of mixed tropical flavours and found both the draw and flavour to be very similar to disposables. With over 20 Crystal 2400 pod flavours to choose from, I like that you can mix and match your pods or just stick to a single flavour.

Overall I’m impressed with the Crystal 2400 - it does a great job of balancing the flavour and convenience of a disposable with the reusability and savings of a regular pod kit. I’d also definitely recommend it to fans of Crystal Bar disposables looking for a reusable alternative.

Elf Bar 1200

Buy if:
·You like strong, sweet disposable-style flavours
·You like the option of mixed flavour pods
·You like a tighter Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) inhale

Don’t buy if:
·You’re want maximum capacity - choose a 4-pod device instead
·Build quality is important to you

Elf Bar’s 1200 device has a dual-pod design with 2 x 2ml pods holding up to 4ml e-liquid at once. I tried the Red Edition kit with Strawberry Ice and Red Cherry pods and liked having the option of two different flavours to use at once. (You can also buy pods separately and stick to one flavour if you prefer.)

Installing the pods is very straightforward - just pop off the lid and push them in. I found this much easier than with similar devices such as IVG 2400.

The flavour is strong and sweet, as you’d expect from Elf Bar, and I think this would be a great choice for fans of Elf Bar disposables. I also found the airflow very restricted, making it a good option if you prefer a tighter inhale.

While the Elf Bar 1200 has a lot of pros, having used their Elfa Pro kit in the past, I did find the build quality to be a bit of a step back. That said, for the low price, great flavour and dual-pod design, I’d still say this makes the next logical step if you are an Elf-Bar disposable user looking for a no-fuss, reusable device with cost savings over regular disposable devices.

Lost Mary 4in1

Buy if:
·You want long-lasting battery & pod life
·You like to monitor remaining battery life
·You like a more subtle vape experience

Don’t buy if:
·You prefer stronger flavours
·Build quality is important to you

Lost Mary’s 4in1 kit makes a great option for fans of Lost Mary disposables who want a longer-lasting, reusable device that is still easy to use.

Using the device over a full weekend, I found both the battery and pod life quite impressive - with the 850mAh battery easily lasting me all day and each pod lasting even longer. The device itself is easy to use - just insert your pods and inhale. Switching pods is very easy and you can also clearly see which flavour is being used at any time.

While I wasn’t overly impressed with the plastic build quality of the device, there are some additional features compared to other big puff devices I’ve tried. This includes a digital display that makes it easy to monitor battery life and a battery-saving ECO mode option. While I expected using ECO mode would noticeably alter my vape, I was pleasantly surprised that the vapour output was hardly affected.

I used the multi-flavour Berry Edition kit and, while the flavour produced was enjoyable and similar to Lost Mary disposables, it wasn’t as strong as I expected - probably down to the 1.2ohm coils inside the pods. However, when I offered the device to a friend who prefers less strong flavours, she loved it and is even buying her own! So, I’d say this was a good option for those who prefer a more subtle vaping experience.

Overall, I’d recommend the Lost Mary 4in1 to vapers of all experience levels looking for a longer-lasting vape with a more subtle flavour experience.
