Choosing the Right Flavor for You & Your Vape

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, e-cigarette aerosol generally contains fewer harmful chemicals than smoke from burned tobacco products.

As a less dangerous alternative to smoking, vaping has far more redeeming qualities than its combustible counterpart.

Not only is vaping less damaging to your lungs but there’s also no lingering smokey smell that clings to your clothes and breath after a cigarette. On top of that, there are countless different vape juices for you to take your pick from.

Vaping allows you to receive the same nicotine hit – or less – in an endlessly diverse mix of flavor options. So you’ll always be able to find a vape juice and device to suit your needs and style that you can enjoy.

Different Vape Juices we have available
First things first, let’s start with what you call it. Whether you prefer to call it Vape Juice, E-liquid, or Vape Liquid, it’s all the same thing! Here are the main types you need to be aware of:

·Nicotine salts – These E-liquids have higher nicotine content that’s packed full of flavor, for a satisfying nicotine hit that inhales smoothly and has a stronger throat experience akin to smoking a cigarette. These come in 30ml and up in strengths that range from 18mg-50mg with a 50/50 - PG/VG mix.
·Sub-ohm vape juice - Up to 120ml E-liquids containing nicotine strengths from 0-12mg, typically in a 70/30 propylene glycol/vegetable glycerine formula.
·Sub-ohm salts: 'regular' vape juice with nicotine salts added for a smoother throat feel but weaker 0-12mg sub-ohm strengths.
·Types of Nicotine - Tobacco-free Nicotine (TFN), No Tobacco Nicotine (NTN), or Synthetic Nicotine: These use manmade nicotine, as opposed to tobacco-derived nicotine, to give you the satisfaction of a completely tobacco-free nicotine hit.

Which Vape Juice do I need?
Vape liquids come in several types and the one that suits you will depend on your smoking habit before transitioning to vaping and the type of device and coil you use.

As a general rule of thumb, we recommend using the information below to inform the device, type, and strength of vape juice you use…

Light smokers – sub-ohm, 0-12mg nicotine strength, pod system, vape pen or box mod
For social smokers or anyone slowly lowering their nicotine intake, a sub-ohm experience with regular vape juices from 0mg-12mg offers the ideal strength. This is easier on the throat and produces great-tasting, bigger vape clouds.

Medium smokers – plus-and sub-ohm, 6-18mg nicotine strength, pod system, vape pen or box mod
Heavier smokers, but those who’re smoking much less than 20 cigarettes per day can start on around 18mg of nicotine. Once they’re used to 18mg, they can transition to weaker strength sub-ohm devices, coils, and liquids.

Sub-ohm box mod kits have traditionally catered for this market, but you can now find many pod systems and vape pen devices that happily cater to both plus-ohm and sub-ohm vapers. These devices give you the whole gamut to choose from, so you can slowly decrease the amount of nicotine you’re using.

Heavy smokers – plus-ohm, 18mg-50mg nicotine strength, pod system or vape pen
A heavy smoker will need a stronger nicotine intake and throat hit to satisfy the experience they’ve been used to. This will mean smaller vape pens or pod vapes designed for stronger nicotine salts, ranging from 18-50mg with a plus-ohm coil from 0.8 up to 3.0 ohms.

When making the transition away from cigarettes, we recommend you research the level of nicotine you are currently using and try a vape juice flavor that matches that level of nicotine.

Once you have found this, you can lower the amount of nicotine you use with each purchase – until the point where you are nicotine-free!

Best Vape Juice flavors
There are thousands of E-liquid flavors and brands available on the market, so it can be hard to differentiate between good and substandard quality items.

Is your Vape Juice starting to taste bad?
If your vape is starting to taste a little different, it may be because the coil in your vape has reached the end of its lifespan.

Don’t worry, you won’t have to dispose of your whole vape, you’ll just need to replace the coil. The instructions for how to do this can be found in the manual that comes with your vaping device.
