Is “Nasal” Vaping A New Thing?

Is nasal vaping a new thing? It is something I have seen knocking about which has caught my eye!

A new product on the horizon is the Vozol Nose Knows AT5000 disposable Nasal Vape.

“Not for sale – just for fun” is the statement on the Nose Knows Tik Tok page.

It is a new disposable style vape with two heads that you stuff up each nostril?

Apparently this had its debut at the CHAMPS vape trade show in Las Vegas.

I have actually seen it listed for pre-order on some vendor websites – so it does appear to be something heading to the market soon?

The brand is part of Vozol who are a large disposable vape manufacturer but there is no mention of it on their website. Plus there is no manufacturer website at all? Is this April Fool’s Day being

I can sort of see some situations where this might be beneficial for those with mouth injuries or some physical reason why vaping in the usual way would be difficult.

But personally I would hate to shove a vape up my hooter?

Yes you will no doubt get increased aroma sensation but surely bypassing the tastebuds would lose some of the reason we vape.

Why Nasal Vaping?
Apparently nasal administration means a quicker uptake of nicotine due to the amount of olfactory nerve endings present in the nasal mucosa. And the fact the aroma vapour will be more intense delivered straight to the nose.

We have previously had nasal sprays for things like decongestant, allergy relief and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) which are all classed as safe medications so there must be some truth in this. Not to mention the very old tradition of Snuff which is a kind of tobacco powder that is snorted or “snuffed” into the nose.

Plus a recent trend of “Energy Stick” nasal inhalers seem to be increasing in popularity in some countries. The market seems to be flooded with low priced “no name” brands.

These Energy Stick devices seem to be quite controversial and there are claims they will give an energy boost and ease nasal congestion – plus some other crazy far-fetched medical claims!

I wonder if the Nasal Vape is based on this trend?

What Is The Nose Knows AT5000 Device?
According to several sources it is apparently the world’s first nasal inhalation disposable vape. I can believe that too.

In a promotional image shown above it states…

“AT5000 revolutionises vaping with nose inhalation, directly stimulating the olfactory nerves for a quicker and more intense sensory experience, delivering ultimate satisfaction”.

From what I can tell is it based on a standard disposable vape with a heating element and battery. Just with 2 rounded mouthpieces – or nose pieces…

There are 12 flavours to choose from – White Peach Sakura Ice, Melon Ice, Jasmine Rose, Latte, Avocado Osmanthus, Vanilla Custard, Coconut Ice, Mint Leaf, Strawberry ice, Rose Lychee, Double Apple and Banana Ice.

As it is a disposable vape, when the 1000mAh battery or 10ml of e-liquid has emptied then it is chucked.

It is up for pre-order on the Vapesourcing website and the specifications are as follows:

·Designed and Powered by VOZOL
·First Nasal Inhalation Vape in the World
·Built-in Non-rechargeable 1000mAh Battery
·Pre-filled 10ml E-Juice
·Puff Count: Approximately 5000 Puffs
·2% (20mg) Nicotine Strength
·Direct Stimulation to the Olfactory Nerves

I am afraid it is not something I would like to try. But I am a hayfever and allergy sufferer so anything else up my stuffy nose sounds like a nightmare.

Let me know your opinions on the Nose Knows AT5000 disposable vape – would you try it? Do you think it is a good idea?
