The Armour G by Vaporesso is a pod available in two versions. Visually similar in terms of the battery component, it is the tank that differentiates them. One model is designed for direct inhalation, while the other is suited for a tighter draw.
Cartridge with GTX Coils
The Armour G is a substantial pod with a form factor similar to that of a small starter kit. Compact yet powerful, it features a built-in 3000 mAh battery. The cartridge has a capacity of 5 ml. This complete, easy-to-use pod is compatible with various GTX coils, offering a wide range of vaping experiences.

Long-lasting Pod
The Armour G is equipped with a USB-C connector for recharging. The 3000 mAh battery provides substantial comfort, whether in MTL (mouth-to-lung) or DTL (direct-to-lung) versions. Vaping while charging is possible.
The provided coils are compatible with the battery’s long lifespan, although the 0.2-ohm coil consumes significantly more power (up to 60 W). A double-button system adjusts the power and allows navigation through the menus. Just above, a slider-shaped button serves as a box lock, which is convenient for transport.
The Armour G pod’s finish feels pleasant in hand, combining plastic parts with soft faux leather. An LED strip runs along each side of the device, lighting up during charging and vapor production.
The color screen offers various visual animations. Essential information is easily accessible at a glance, such as coil resistance, battery level, selected mode, puff counter, and more. Users can choose from Smart, Eco, and Pulse modes. Overall, the device is simple, complete, and more than sufficient for typical pod usage.
The provided cartridge is held in place by powerful magnets. Its 5 ml capacity is quite comfortable. Refilling is straightforward: lift a silicone flap to insert the bottle nozzle.
At the top of the cartridge, the drip tip is designed for both indirect and direct inhalation in the DTL version. A rotating ring at the base serves as an airflow control. Vaporesso continues to use a numbered scale from 1 to 3 for airflow on the DTL version, indicating the opening level. It’s a clever touch, though unfortunately somewhat difficult to read. For the MTL version, the airflow holes are logically smaller to allow a tighter draw.
Two GTX coils are included in the box: a 0.4-ohm GTX for vaping at 26 to 32 W and a 0.6-ohm GTX for use between 20 to 26 W. The Armour G is compatible with coils ranging from 0.15 to 1.2 ohms. When it comes to vaping, GTX coils, which are available in nearly every vape shop, are renowned for their quality. They are precise, reliable, and perfectly suited for fruity-flavored e-liquids.
The 0.4-ohm coil, although excellent, doesn’t seem specifically intended for an MTL pod. We prefer higher ohmic values for this style. In the DTL pod, however, the coil choice is more appropriate.
